BP —the leading international oil and gas company— commissioned Quayfive (an existing consultancy client) to conduct a survey of equal opportunity, gender bias and career trajectory in today's market.
The brief was to make the document engaging, ensure the stats were punchy whilst ensuring a more vibrant approach to corporate documentation. With over 6000 online forms completed the survey had an enormous wealth of knowledge gathered. Working with data analysts, copywriters and LGBT, diversity and employee engagement specialists every step of the way to finesse and showcase their major findings. Moving the look and feel more towards an editorial piece was a two-steps-forward, one-step -back process. I explored pushing the boundaries with flexible grids, utilised white space to showcase the stats and bring balance along with playful page elements and a tactile paper stock to entice a corporate audience.
